In this video, I test the Superlux R102 MK II Ribbon Microphone on two different amplifiers. I also blend the Superlux R102 Ribbon microphone with an SM57 and a Rode NT2A microphone. The goal of this video is to see what makes Ribbon microphones so special for recording the electric guitar amplifiers as well as how they compare with and work in conjunction with other microphones.
