(VEGAN FRIENDLY) FURIKAKE CHEX MIX!

One of our favorite snacks! ½ stick (4tbsp) vegan butter ¼cup vegetable oil ¼cup light corn syrup 2tbsp soy sauce 1/3cup granulated sugar 3cups Honeycomb cereal *can omit or substitute* 3cups wheat Chex 3cups rice Chex 3cups Bugles ~¼cup Furikake 1. Melt together ½ stick butter, ¼ cup oil, ¼ cup corn syrup, 2 tbsp soy sauce, ⅓ cup granulated sugar in a small saucepan until combined. Let cool, slightly 2. In a large bowl, toss together 3 cups of Honeycomb cereal, 3 cups wheat Chex, 3 cups rice Chex, and 3 cups Bugles (or any sub of your favorite chex / cereals!) 3. On a large baking sheet, spread out the mixed cereals and drizzle over the cereals. Toss lightly to coat. When adequately coated, sprinkle Furikake and toss gently. 4. Preheat the oven to 250F. Bake in the oven for ~ 45min-1hr until the chex mix is thoroughly coated and no residual syrup remains on the baking sheet, checking every ~15minutes to lightly stir the mix. 5. Enjoy!
