While the music theory remains the same, the playing style, melodies, tone and even the postures differ from a steel string guitar. Beginners often get confused as in to go for a steel string guitar or a nylon string guitar. One major advantage on the Cort AC100dx is that it has a truss rod which is an essential thing for the Indian climate. Not that a bend neck on a classical guitar is not repairable without the truss rod, But truss rod is always an easier bet.
