Symptom number one - if the TV will not turn on, but you will hear the relay click one and off repeatedly. Symptom number two - The TV turns on and you hear the Samsung chime turn on sound, but there is no video. In this video we will show how to replace the X-Main Board in a Samsung plasma TV. I have removed the screws and the back cover of the TV. This is what the TV looks like with the back cover removed and all the boards on the panel. Here is the power supply board, and the Y-Main Board, and the Bottom Y-Scan Drive board, and the main logic control board, the main board, and the X Main Board. We will now show how to replace the X-Main Board. I will start by disconnecting all of the ribbons and cables from the board. Be very careful as these connections are fragile. I will squeeze this first connection, apply pressure and pull backwards away from the board. The next two connections are very fragile.
