Phil Sgrosso from As I Lay Dying "Reflection" FULL playthrough

As I Lay Dying Shadows Are Security Reflection TUNING - DROP C (C G C F A D) This song will always have a special place in my heart because we played it live before the album was even released, mostly on our first few dates in Germany and on our first UK tour with @lambofgod (new album out today, check it 🤘🏽) it seems like it always went over very well in Germany so I hope we can eventually sprinkle it into the setlist every now and then. Anther fond memory was when I always soundchecked with it on the “Minions of Mosh” tour in 2005 and I think it drove @mikemartin from @allthatremains CRAZY from hearing it so much. Possible exaggeration from one of my guys maybe 😂. What’s kind of crazy about this song is that it’s really only 2 parts just played in a few different playing variations. I guess 3 if you count the breakdown but then that sort of merges into the main riff as well. Not sure what the thinking was behind it when Tim and I wrote the song, maybe 50% “get the song done as fast as possible because we gotta write 8 more NOW” or “maybe we can get clever and really milk a single melody as much as possible.”
