Sea Monsters - Pliosaurs - Animated Size Comparison - (Extinct Marine Reptiles)

Animated size comparison of some of the largest Pliosaurs. Pliosaurs are an extinct marine reptile related to plesiosaurs, but with shorter necks and larger crocodile shaped heads. They were carnivores that lived during the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods and ate fish, ichthyosaurs, sharks, dinosaurs as well as other plesiosaurs. On average, they could grow 4 to 15 meters long! I based their size and proportions off of fossilized skeletal remains, projected estimations, and theoretical fin and color arrangements. A video that has 44 of the largest extinct marine reptiles Pliosaurs in video: Svalbard Pliosaurus, Pliosaurus rossicus, Pliosaurus macromerus, Kronosaurus, Pliosaurus funkei, Brachauchenius, Pliosaurus kevani, Pliosaurus carpenteri, Liopleurodon, Rhomaleosaurus, Macroplata, Peloneustes.
