Angelo Badalamenti - The Music of Twin Peaks / @coversart The music that I had long wanted to play was the one for the David Lynch TV series Twin Peaks, composed by the brilliant Angelo Badalamenti. (is it also worth noting what a shocking impression the series had made on me, in the early 90s of the last century, when I was still a child. And of course the merit of the soundtrack here cannot be overestimated) I recorded 8 main songs from The Music of Twin Peaks. And although I originally planned to play them only on the piano - I could not resist using the synthesizer instead of vocals in 3 songs written by David Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti. My recording is based on arrangements by Edwin Mclean. Everything you hear and see is played live. In compositions where double bass is heard - I just use the split keyboard option available in my Nord Grand, playing the bass part with the left hand and the piano part with the right. 1.
