The Shotgun 650 is the fourth member of Royal Enfield’s ‘650 Twins’ line-up, joining the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650 and Super Meteor 650. The newest member borrows much from the Super Meteor 650 cruiser, albeit with stripped back styling, a sportier ‘bobber’ style riding position and dimensional changes throughout. It is motivated by the same 648cc parallel-twin engine as powers the entire range, which generates 35kW and 52Nm, and is mated to a conventional six-speed transmission.
