How to remove the front badge of a Volkswagen Golf V

Today I had some new badges turn up I managed to get a break in the rain to remove the front grill and work out how to remove the front badge. I watched some tutorials who showed that you need to take the grill out and push some hard to access clips. However I found out that if you turn it anti-clockwise the badge comes off. With the old badge on, as it had not likely been removed in 15 years I did have to twist quite hard but got there in the end. Hopefully I will be removing the rear badge in a couple of days providing the weather is decent and replacing the old corroded badge with a nice new badge. This method may work on other VW Cars like the Jetta / Eos / Passat and Golf VI.
