How to Replace the Starter Motor on a Landcruiser Prado 120 Series

Do you need to remove or replace the starter motor on your Prado 120 series? This is video tutorial to help you achieve that. It's overall not a complicated task to remove the starter motor, but it is a fiddly task. So you will need patience and the right tools. I recommend having basic hand tools, including a breaker bar and an extension bar. That will make your life much easier when trying to remove the starter motor. The steps I followed were: 1. Remove the front left tyre. 2. Unplug the wires running into the starter motor. 3. Unbolt the starter motor with the 2 nuts at the rear. 4. Transfer the stud from the old starter motor to the new. 5. Reinstall the starter motor, bolting it on & plugging it in.
