How to Replace the Starter Motor on a Landcruiser Prado 120 Series

It's overall not a complicated task to remove the starter motor, but it is a fiddly task. So you will need patience and the right tools. I recommend having basic hand tools, including a breaker bar and an extension bar. That will make your life much easier when trying to remove the starter motor. The steps I followed were: 1. Remove the front left tyre. 2. Unplug the wires running into the starter motor. 3. Unbolt the starter motor with the 2 nuts at the rear. 4. Transfer the stud from the old starter motor to the new. 5. Reinstall the starter motor, bolting it on & plugging it in.
