Altec Lansing A7-500-8E Cinema Loudspeaker System

These speakers came from the Beckley Cinema 6 at the Crossroads mall in Beckley, West Virginia. This is quite an excellent sounding speaker system. I have them paired with my 12 cubic feet ported sub-woofer, tuned for 20hz, and flat to 22 hz. These Altec speakers are driven by an Altec Lansing 1268 stereo power amplifier, and the sub-woofer is driven off one channel of a Crown k1. The other channel of the k1 powers the optional center A8 Altec center channel. Speaker Compnents: N8500-8A Crossover, Passive, 500Hz Two Way with Horn Level 416 8B Woofer 902-8B Horn Driver 511B Multi-Cell Horn Altec 1268 Power Amplifier Ashly XR1001 Electronic Crossover Ashly 3102 Dual 31 Band Equalizer QSC DSP-30 (Contains Sub-woofer EQ Curve) Dolby Audio Processor, Various inputs. Full system response 22hz - 18kHz, rough estimation, I have not measured. All original vintage components. I plan to rebuild the crossovers in them with new capacitors as an upgrade, but that is it. Otherwise these will stay 100% original. I did flip the woofers in mine to prevent the surround doping compound from running on the cone, and to prevent them from sagging.
