Let me share my JOURNEY STORY about How ICC profile impacts your DTF Printer Epson L1800 image output by using PartnerRIP Pro In December 2020, I install the PartnerRIP Pro software and set up my Epson L1800 for DTF Printing purposes. During the first few pieces of the printout, I already notice that my colour output is incorrect. I spend plenty of time adjusting the colour in graphic software like photoshop and trying different settings on RIP software. Then do the test printing and repeat the above steps until I achieve the colour I wanted. I am wasting a lot of TIME and MONEY on this repeated process. Then I start searching for the causes online and refer back to the supplier. When I ask the Printer Supplier, they tell me that the colour issue may be because I am using 3rd party ink. Then when I refer back to the Ink Supplier, they claimed that never face such a problem and that might be my setting was wrong, and refer back to RIP software supplier. DOES now I look like a BALL. Some users who I interviewed, told me that they can have nice colour output. But in fact, they don¬ice the colour output is incorrect because never do the comparison or saw the accurate colour output result. I believe you can feel my PAIN. Then I recall back the method of how I solved my colour issue on Sublimation Ink and Pigment Ink. I always assume the colour profile found inside PartnerRIP Pro software, is for DTF Purpose.
