Super Donkey Kong 99 is a bootleg game published onto the Sega genesis in 1999 possibly by Gamtec. It has five worlds with a boss at the end of each one. The sprites in the game are ripped from Donkey Kong Country (1994) and Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong&Double Trouble! (1996), with some of the enemies barrowed from Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy Kong&Quest (1995). Diddy Kong is not present in this game and instead you only play as Donkey Kong, which inevitably means you die with one single hit. This game has some noticeable issues; Platforming at times can be a bit tricky especially in the final level and the lack of DK barrels makes the game more difficult. The third boss (Master Necky SNR) is difficult to beat on some emulators because he acts as an invincible barrier after one or two hits and in the fifth boss battle, you must let King K Rool&crown pass through out. If you try to jump over it, you&get hit. The game uses the song engine from Data East&High Seas Havoc (1993) on the Sega Genesis.
