This video is about my Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. In this video I am changing the oil in the bike for the first time. This video will also show you how to adjust the free play in the clutch lever on the Interceptor 650. Changing the oil and performing preventative maintenance on a regular basis will keep the bike running properly and help to prevent future problems. In this video I will give you the part number for the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 oil filter. I ended up putting 20w50 Mobil 1 V-Twin motor oil in the bike. The Royal Enfield manual says to use 10w50 motor oil, but here in Florida it is almost impossible to find 10w50. The clutch lever on the bike had about one inch of free play in it before adjustment. It should only have 2-3 mm of free play in it at the pivot point. I hope my Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 lasts forever. I plan on performing routine maintenance and cleaning the bike when needed to keep it looking and running as good as possible.
