For comparison, the standard Explorer ST starts at $52,830 for the 2021 model year. Just like a regular performance SUV, the Explorer Enthusiast ST also features a 10-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive as standard. Ford promises a top speed of 143 miles/hour (230 km/h), which they claim is "unmatched in this segment at that price." What&also worth noting is that this new sporty SUV has a towing capability of up to 5,600 pounds (2,540 kilograms). Another addition to the 2021 model year lineup is the Platinum RWD version of the Explorer.
