Welcome back, to day 3 of our 14 day journey! I&happy to have you with us! Today we introduce side swings with two hands. Side swings are a staple in any jump rope flow. When performed, the entire rope and arc swings to the side of the body. This allows us establish timing without having to jump over the rope. The secret to unlocking smooth side swings is in the wrist. Synchronize the two different wrist flicks while crossing the midline and your rope will maintain momentum. They may take more than a day to start feeling comfortable, but I assure you that if you practice them, your body will settle into the flow. Hear the whirl. Swing the weight. Most importantly, remember to have fun! There are no wrong answers.
