Ezio Bosso, he approached music at the age of four, thanks to a great aunt pianist and his brother musician. At 16 he made his debut as a soloist in France and began touring European orchestras. It is the meeting with Ludwig Streicher to mark the turning point of his artistic career, directing him to study Composition and Conducting at the Academy of Vienna. In 2011, he underwent surgery to remove a malignancy and was also affected by an autoimmune syndrome. The pathologies did not initially prevent him from continuing to play, compose, and direct. Subsequently, the worsening of a neurodegenerative disease, which occurred in that same year and at the beginning forced him in September 2019 to cease his pianist activity, having compromised the use of his hands. Since spring 2017 Ezio Bosso has been a witness and international ambassador of the Mozart14 Association, the official legacy of the social and educational principles of Maestro Claudio Abbado, carried out by his daughter Alessandra.
