Vaja Azarashvili - Nocturne

Аватар автора
One of the most melodically elaborate pieces, written by “one of the most significant pioneers of the Georgian classical idiom”, primary for two violins and a string orchestra. Although there are lots of arrangements - this one, for example, made for two flutes, although tried to leave an impression of some experimental nature spirit, therefore the first part is played by violin - as a metaphorically claimed symbol of spiritual rebirth, which I’m going through in the moment. Especially thankful to Olha Marynchuk for the most colourful and daring solutions during the project, and Natalia Pivovarova for such operativeness and motivation in fulfilling this project, as well as Jevgenija Otroshko, Bachi Mikeladze and his wonderful pedagogue Nato Oragvelidze for the ideas. Recorded on the October 26th, although the rethinking process last time takes a bit longer, in order to make the most colourful reflection of your own ideas. Performed by Natalia Pivovarova (violin), Olha Marynchuk (flaute), Alexander Vladislavov (piano)
