Memory Dump Procedure via flashtool Hi Friends, In this video i am going to demonstrate how i was able to take backup of the Stock ROM of my Android Car Stereo. Note: if your device is not bricked, Make a full backup before trying another firmware. This information is very basic need for all those who would like to have backup of the stock ROM so that in case of any problem they can reflash the stock ROM or for someone who wants to venture in to the world of Custom ROMs or custom recovery. In case of any soft brick you can always be rest assured that you have back up of your own working Stock ROM. Also many times we get update to our system and the ugprade may fail for many reasons. In case of such failures the unit may get bricked. Having a ROM backup protects you against such failures. In this video i will show how i have taken a ROM Dump and how i have converted the ROM DUMP into usable files so that i can also flash only specific region like recovery if i want to flash custom recovery or just restore stock recovery in future etc. For More details: 1.
