Easy Way To Remove Dyson V7 / V8 Foam Filter To Replace With HEPA Filter Adapter for Vacuum

I previously posted a very popular YT video about how to replace the useless foam filter on a Dyson V7 cordless vacuum cleaner with a HEPA filter to reduce fine dust from escaping the vacuum. A viewer left a comment about an easier way to remove the foam filter housing. I showed how to do it using cards and screwdrivers to pry off the filter housing. their method was much simpler and easier. You just use your thumbs to push up on the filter housing to pop it off. BOOM ? My refurbished Dyson V7 cordless vacuum did not have the HEPA post-motor filter. I thought it was strange that it only came with the standard foam filter because it was the Absolute set, which is the nicest Dyson set. Fortunately, there is a third-party solution available that replaces the foam filter with a sealed adapter for the HEPA filter. In the previous video, I show 3 different ways to remove the standard foam filter. It&difficult because you need a thin piece of plastic to wedge between the motor and filter housing, and pry of the filter without damaging anything.
