2009 Mercedes-Benz W204 C200 Part 20 - Rear ABS ring replacement.

Having eliminate the ABS sensor and the battery as the cuase of my ESP/ABS error, the only thing left was the pickup ring. I bought a new ABS pickup ring from my trusty motor factor. Separating the driveshaft from the hub was a bit difficult but it can be done by disconnecting only 3 of the suspension arms. The rest of the job wasn&too difficult and it was evident that the old pickup ring had rusted. Once it was buttoned up and the car driven for a short while the error messages and warning lights went away. The codes will need to be cleared at some point but I can do that at my own leisure. #C-Class PLEASE NOTE: I’m just a DIY mechanic.
