01 Jun 2025 Welcome to Lübeck, the «Queen of the Hanseatic League». This medieval island city is a UNESCO World Heritage site located just northeast of Hamburg. On this tour, we start at the iconic Holstentor gate and walk along the Trave River past the old salt warehouses. We’ll head into the center to see the Medieval Town Hall and continue up to the Burgtor at the northern end of the Old Town. Along the way, we’ll see hidden courtyards and talk about the famous figures who shaped German history and literature.
