Reset Oil Service Interval in a MINI Cooper CountryMan F60 with a 6WB LCD New Digital Speedometer.

This short video shows method for reset of Oil Service interval in a 2018 F60 Mini Cooper CountryMan that now has a 6WB Retrofit Digital Speedometer. Hope it helps. The hood has to be closed & the car ignition switch has to be in the ACC mode/Single press when this operation is performed. I used «Pennzoil Platinum Euro L Full Synthetic 5W-30 Motor Oil» at this occasion as my replacement oil. This is a BMW recommended oil for Diesel engines(LL-04), which according to my research meant that it passes the test for all Petrol(LL-01) BMW-MINI engines as well. The official recommended BMW-MINI engine oil is the Fully synthetic from Castrol LL(Long Life) and the spec varies based on the climate in which the engine runs. In Tropical climates such as mine, in Trinidad & Tobago, the dealer/BMW-MINI recommended spec IS 5W-30. BMW-MINI buy their oil from Castrol now & previously they outsourced from Shell-Qatar. My MINI F60 is designed for an oil change once every 12000kms but i choose to change my engine oil every 5000-7000kms.
