How To Play Split-Screen in Subnautica from the same PC: !!IMPORTANT!!! Use the NEWEST version of Subnautica. (Used to be the Legacy version) 1 Install nucleus coop. 2 Run as Administrator and then press download game manager. 3 Find the executable (subnautica.exe) 4 go back to Nucleus Coop and add input devices (Preferably two controllers) 5 press play, a popup window called process picker should open. Do not select anything yet. 6 press Play Multiplayer from the Nitrox Launcher. 7 Once you have started a game you should click Subnautica in the process picker popup. Press refresh if it is not there. Do NOT click NitroxServer-Subnautica, it should only be called Subnautica. 8 From the Nitrox Launcher, press Play Multiplayer again to start another instance of the game. 9 Join the same server as Player 1. 10 Once in the game press Subnautica from the second Process Picker. (It can be slow to show up) 11 Now the split-screen windows should have adjusted correctly, and the controllers should work. if you want to use multiple headphones from the same PC, I recommend installing Voicemeeter. If one player has a lower framerate than the other, I would recommend reducing your screen refresh rate to around 60 frames per second.
