This engineering mode gives access to a lot of advanced features and diagnostic data, many of which can be very helpful when repairing the unit, patching the firmware, converting the vehicle to a different region, and retrofitting additional equipment. ℹ️ Turn the ignition on, wait for the Audi system to start. Push buttons NAV/MAP and RADIO forwards, keep them in this position for about 3 seconds, and wait for the hidden menu (GEM) to appear on the display.
