When prices will drop for used turing parts RTX 2070 Super should be a 50% (with i5) performance upgrade (in 1080p) for ~75% higher price. It is also equipped with additional 2GB of ram. When replacing used gpu i would try to get at least 50% more of performance. -------------------------- 15% more frames is not noticable. 34,5 instead of 30 or 69 instead of 60 is not a big differance. +30% is worth of upgrading. 39 instead of 30, 52 instead of 40 or 78 instead of 60. -------------------------- I overclocked my 3600 CL17 to 4000 CL18. Almost all Hynix CJR and Micron E revision ram sticks will work just fine on 4000MHZ with timings 18 21 21 35 or 17 20 20 35 or even 16 19 19 35. My timings: tCL 18, tRCD 21, tRP 21, tRAS 35, tRFC 520, tWR 18, tRTP 10, tFAW 24, tCWL 14, tCKE 8 rest on auto. Stability checked with 30 minutes run of AIDA64 Stress system memory stability test. I could also try to change other timings but that would require more time for testing and performance would not be much higher. Tuning memory timings is very time consuming. Each timing should be changed separetly and tested. Spending additional hours for adjusting more timings seems to be not worth the performance gain. Games benchmarks: Assassin's Creed Odyssey Far Cry New Dawn Rainbow Six Siege The Division 2 Shadow of the Tomb Raider Project Cars 2 Screen was recorded with Nvidia Shadow Play. Performance is higher without recording. ------------------------------- Motherboard: MSI MEG Z490I UNIFY...
