Fender Custom Shop&Limited Edition "CuNiFe" Telecaster Custom features striking vintage aesthetics, an absolutely stunning set of pickups, and top-shelf playability. If you like thin necks, this Tele has you covered with a 1960-Style Oval "C" profile with 21 narrow tall frets, in addition to a 9.5" radius flat-lam rosewood fingerboard. And thanks to vintage-style tuners, a &to &Tele bridge with RSD saddles, and clay dot inlays, you have authentic vintage-inspired hardware from top to bottom. However, the star of the show is the CuNiFe Tele&set of pickups. Hired by Fender in 1971, renowned amp/pickup designer Seth Lover developed the CuNiFe humbucking pickup, which gets its name from its use of copper (Cu), nickel (Ni), and iron (Fe). This "CuNiFe" alloy yields a rich, hi-fi sound with unprecedented tonal clarity, and a dynamic overall sound that increases attack and breaks up when pushed, while still dishing out the timeless, sparkly cleans that Fender is known for. This versatile set of pickups includes a hand-wound Texas Special single-coil in the bridge, and simple three-way switching. From its incredible pickups, to its stunning vintage aesthetics and specs, Fender Custom Shop&Limited Edition "CuNiFe" Telecaster is a gem of a guitar. -Weight: 7 lbs. 7.8 oz. -Neck Thickness at 1F: 0.83" -Neck Thickness at 12F: 0.94" Specs: General -Color: Faded Aged Chocolate 3-Color Sunburst -Country Of Origin: US -Orientation: Right-Hand -Series: Limited Edition Neck...
