B&N Mobil Directo - Pottsville, PA (06/06/21)

Video taken on June 6, 2021 by a member of Yorkville Fire & Hose Company, showing their B&N (Biersach & Niedermeyer Co.) Mobil Directo sounding for an emergency call (in this case, an electrical fire). The siren was installed in 1965 to replace an older Darley omni-directional siren. The siren obviously rotates much faster than normal (since it was refurbished several years ago) but it still packs a hell of a punch. This is among the last few Mobil Directo sirens still in operation, and this one seems rather well maintained, hopefully to stay in service for years to come.
