Renault Type A (1898) Exterior and Interior

1898 Renault Type A car seen from outside and inside. It all began in 1898, with the Type A, Renault&first vehicle. On his buggy-like car, Louis Renault drove up Montmarte hill along the steep street Rue Lepic. The vehicle&innovative direct-drive gearbox and front-end engine gave the Type A features of today&cars. Enthralled by its driving simplicity and lightness, onlookers on Rue Lepic placed their orders. The Type A was not originally intended for sale, yet this embodiment of Louis Renault&bold, pioneering spirit it sparked the firm Renault Frères. The car was shown at Geneva International Motor Show 2018 (Geneva Motor Show [GIMS] 2018).
