How low can ports get? Greetings, people! With the combination of inspiration from summ22&"Street Fighter 2 on 11 different platforms comparison" video and Donkey Kong fever returning to a new height thanks to Retro Studios&efforts on his return with Donkey Kong Country Returns, I have compiled nearly all ports ever made of the arcade game that started it all in two parts, which showcase all versions of 25m for your comparison pleasure. The only ports you won&find in this compilation are direct arcade/NES emulations (Donkey Kong 64, the original Animal Crossing, GBA (Classic NES series, in case you forgot its existence) and Virtual Console) and the MSX version (which I couldn&find a download of). So which version do you think looks, sounds and plays best/worst? Why did Nintendo outsource a bunch of the ports to Atarisoft or Ocean instead of someone more competent?
