Downgrading Magisk isn&as straightforward as you would expect, but I can show you how by using the application itself. ~~~~~ Video Description ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Magisk has received a couple of big updates recently with the introduction of Zygisk, the removal of MagiskHide, and now with version 25 we see better support for Xperia devices like Sony thanks to the updated 2SI implementation with the MagiskInit rewrite. However, big changes also mean that there could be some breakage with devices or setups and I&been seeing that more frequently as of late. In one of these recent update videos I did for Magisk, I received a comment talking about how the new update broke their install and they were asking for a way to downgrade to an older version of Magisk. After doing some trial and error testing myself, I noticed how difficult it was to downgrade Magisk to an older version. If you just install an old APK then you&be greeted with a pop-up telling you that Magisk needs to download the latest version first. If you block internet access, you&still be told to connect to the internet so that Magisk can make sure you have the latest version. It seems this restrictions is only with the Magisk application, and not with the Magisk binary.
