How to use Symbicort - Turbuhaler inhaler technique

Symbicort is delivered using the Turbuhaler device. This is a dry-powder inhaler. It delivers a fixed dose of powder which contains the active drugs (budesonide and formoterol). Inhaling Symbicort correctly is done as follows: - take cap off - twist red bottom part to the right and then to the left (until it clicks) - breathe air out of lungs - inhale forcefully - hold breath - release slowly - don&forget to rinse your mouth and gargle some water after use.
