Велотренажеры: Поддержка и мотивация на каждом шагу
Note: the brakes are "Artek" units, not unbranded as I stated. I bought a 2011 Schwinn Wayfarer hybrid bike for $50.00 from a consignment shop. The bike is in poor cosmetic shape and is missing most of its chain guard, so I was able to negotiate a lower price. The bike is basically solid, but having obviously been left out in the rain, a lot of the shiny parts are rusty. I did a couple of tests on the fender and rack, and as a result I am confident that I can make them presentable. The tubes hold air, and the tires are in good condition. The rest of the tasks are simple cleaning and replacement of cables and various components. Once the Wayfarer is restored, my plan is to sell it. All the money that I get for it will be donated to the Tiger Food Pantry, operated by students at Gardiner Area High School. And that is how I plan to turn the Schwinn Wayfarer into food. Costs Initial purchase: $50.00
