This document aims to establish a protocol for the cleanup of raccoon latrines found within structures by Wildlife Control Operators (WCOs). Such latrines can pose a health risk to humans due to the potential presence of Baylisascaris procyonis, also known as raccoon roundworm. While government agencies have created recommendations for outdoor latrine removal, there is a lack of industry standards for indoor latrine cleanup services. To protect the safety of clients and service providers and prevent unethical business practices, a standardized protocol is necessary. This document will focus on the removal of raccoon latrines within structures and address safety and ethical concerns associated with selling these services. Stephen M.
