Veligandu 2021 - amazing corals, sharks and turtles

Veligandu Island Resort & Spa - visited in September/October 2021 The first part of the video shows the island itself with all its beauty. The second parts shows marine live, as seen from the beach. Without even touching the water you can see turtles, rays and many many sharks. The last part shows the underwater part. There are two beautiful reefs at veligandu. The main reef is next to the jetty and is directed towards the inner part of the atoll. Most footage however, was taken at the outer reef that is 100-150 meters away from the beach at the opposite side of the island. Please be aware that only experienced snorkelers and swimmers should snorkel at the outer reef as there are strong currents! The reward for snorkeling there is a beautiful reef with living colorful corals and many sharks. We haven&seen such a well preserved house reef in years!
