A man and a woman aged in their forties and a teenage girl who were on the boat were taken to St George’s Hospital in London for treatment. Another man in his forties, a woman in her thirties and the three-year-old boy were taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital. The boat is thought to be privately owned and there were a number of adults and children on board when the explosion was heard near Maidenhead. Another man received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
