G&L L2000 // The Versatility of the L2000 Bass

The G&L L2000 Bass is really cool! The different pickup settings makes it a truly versatile instrument. It can cover a lot of musical styles. The MFD pickups sound really good. The bass certainly has a &but if you play around with the settings, it can cover a lot of popular bass sounds. The first clip is my go-to l2000 sound. Both pickups. Series. Active. Very fat j-bass on steroids type. The second clip is the front pickup, series, active. It has that old school thump. Third clip is both pickups, parallel, active high boost. A modern slap sound. Fourth clip, Jaco! Bridge pickup, series, active, treble cut. A little chorus. Fifth clip, a 90s rock sound, both pickups, parallel active, high boost. Some saturation. MM style.
