Honoring the Legacy of Alan Cohen and Leadership of York Capital Management

The campaign to save Alan Cohen in November/December 2009 resulted in over 20,000 new donors registered with Gift of Life. Sadly, Alan lost his battle with leukemia in December, but the drives held on hs behalf resulted in dozens of matches for patients already, including 4 transplants to date (as of May 2010). Gift of... Life honored Alan and York Capital at its 10th Annual Gala on May 6, 2010 in New York City, before 700 invited guests --- over 100 of whom were donors and recipients themselves!
