Garmin 520 Altimeter Problem | Garmin 520 repair

A Garmin 520 repair of an altimeter problem with a little help from our local bike shop. Garmin 520 Edge stopped calculating the altitude gain. After every ride I was opting to do a elevation correction on Strava to log the correct altitude gain for the ride. The problem is the sensor on the reverse of the Garmin Edge 520 which gets clogged occasionally. Especially after wet rides from the road spray. I&tried cleaning it myself but the solution was a trip to the local bike ship, Roue Libre in Sallanches where we decided to take the risk (your own risk!) to blow compressed air through the sensor. After a couple of very quick spurts of the compressed air the Garmin 520 now works fine.
