Which one is better? Bernette B38 vs Singer 7470 #sewingmachinemusthaves

Dear Sewing Friends, in this tag video I will be comparing the two sewing machines I have - Singer 7470 and Bernette B38 - and giving you my point of view on what functions are most useful for me in a sewing machine. I hope you enjoy this video, get to know me a bit more and hopefully it will help you make the right decision for You! So.... the reason I said yes to another sewing machine is simple. For the longest time I have been wanting to do some good in the community that I live in with hopes to find like minded people and spark the love of sewing in others. And we have a library nearby that offers to rent conference rooms for free. So I thought - I will bring 3 easy projects that people can make and I will help them with the steps. My idea isn&necessarily for it to be a structured class, more like an "open door" type of environment. You come and look at the materials I have available, at the ideas I can help you with and get going - all free of charge. So Earlier this year I ordered a bunch of fabric mystery boxes, so that way I can offer free fabric for people to experiment with and then I thought - "ok, one sewing machine will do if say... only 5 people show up, but what if I have more people come in?". So there I started stressing out, because a sewing machine is an investment and it just so happened that "Top Notch sew and vac" dealership reached out and we started talking and working together and that is how this Bernette came about!
