&And Me&was the debut single by Dutch disco-funk group Spargo, fronted by band members singer and keyboard player Ellert Driessen and singer Lilian Day Jackson. Released early 1980 it reached in the Dutch Charts in April that year and held the spot for 4 weeks, ultimately becoming the best selling single of the year. Other European countries followed suit with ‘You And Me’ reaching the top spot in the Belgian, Italian and Surinam Charts. It was rewarded an Edison Award for Best Single in 1980. In 2013 &And Me&was voted &Dutch Disco Classic’ by VARA TV Magazine. In 2018 the original track and a remix by Ellert&daughter Jazzi Bobbi entitled &vs Jazzi Bobbi - You And Me (Remix)’ featured in a Vodafone commercial.
