It&fair to say that the Toyota Proace probably isn&the most glamorous of vehicles, either in name or appearance, but that doesn&stop it from being very, very good at what it does. As its boxy proportions suggest, it&based on the Proace panel van, but the addition of seats and windows turns it into a passenger car, in the form of a full-size MPV. Depending on which version of the Verso you go for, you can have up to nine seats, but this top-spec VIP model comes with seven leather-clad chairs that can be tumbled and tilted, slid and stowed in a variety of ways, as well as removed completely for (literally) van-like cargo space. Cars don&come any more practical than this. But does the Toyota Proace Verso have anything else in its armoury other than untouchable practicality and versatility? To find out, Rebecca Jackson takes a look at the car&quality, practicality, technology, value for money, and of course, what it&like to drive.
