Behringer Xenyx 2442fx mixing desk review. A great little desk with a huge number of audio routing options. 4 aux, 4 subgroups, direct outs, inserts and built in effects. I go through various ways to set it up and take a look at various features on the desk. This is the biggest desk from the Xenyx range and for the price it is amazing. I&sure it&based on a very similar Mackie desk, which seems to be the case with a lot of Behringer desks, but it&still going strong after more than a decade. The built in effects are a great addition. This saves having a separate external effects unit (which saves you some money) and due to the way you can route the aux send and returns, you can have a wet signal on the subs and a clean on the master or vice versa - if this means nothing to you, basically you can record without the effect but hear it when you record. This means that you record with the cleanest signal and the effect makes it more pleasing to the ears while recording it. Note that there are also two headphone outputs on this desk. This is a great mixing desk for any home studio so if you&looking for a desk for your recording studio, this would be a great choice Instagram : @PherotoneStudios Twitter : @PherotoneStudio Below are amazon affiliate links for the products I use to make my videos, meaning, at no cost to you, I will earn commission if you click through and make a purchase: US: UK:
