Troublingly, the new Civic Si is actually less powerful and slower than its predecessor. Whereas the 10th-generation car packed 205 hp and sprinted to 60 mph in 6.8 seconds, the 11th-gen Si has 200 hp and needs 7.1 seconds to do the same run. That said, judging the new Si by its numbers is a mistake. This little car drives brilliantly, a wholesale improvement from before. The chassis is now more balanced, and the six-speed shifter is delightful to use. We&ask for brakes that hold up better in hard driving, but that&about it—we remain big fans of the Civic Si. #civic
