Do these dash lights look familiar? Check Rear Park Aid. Hill Start Assist. Service AdvanceTrac. Does the problem (coincidentally) happen when it&raining or humid outside? Chances are that you may also have a faulty wheel speed sensor - at least that what fellow YouTubers and my OBD scanner told me! In my case, I had a faulty front right wheel speed sensor. Chapters: 0:00 - Intro & OBD scan 0:06 - Wheel chocks 0:11 - Jack stand 0:13 - Remove wheel & inspect faulty sensor assembly 0:26 - Timelapse removal of faulty wheel sensor 1:02 - Installation of BRAB-493 1:30 - Connector (Push until it clicks!) 1:43 - Replace the M8 screw 1:54 - Carefully remove jack stand & lower car 2:03 - Torque lug nuts OBD2 scanner used: ANCEL FX2000 (needed something that scanned ABS codes) Tools used: Wheel chocks Jack (2.25 ton) Jack stand (2 ton) Metric 8mm 6-point socket with extension bar (using a racket in the tight spot was difficult - not recommended) Replacement part: Motorcraft BRAB-493 Sensor Assembly (Front Right Wheel Sensor) *other wheel sensors may have a different part number, so check with your local Ford dealer How long did it take? Less than 45 minutes (including filming) Notes: - Dreaded "red connector" - Luckily I disconnected it in less than 2 minutes. - Bracket on the stabilizer bar - I kept the old one.
