I’ve used MainStage as my primary Audio Workstation for a couple of years now. Mostly because of the Concert/Patch structure where I create my instrument setups from a place of creative curiosity. I try stuff, and if it works, I save it. Otherwise, no harm done. Just zeros and ones rearranged. My best instruments are those that I wouldn’t have even been able to imagine, were it not for this particular setup. Four layered patches with breath/bite controlled, velocity assigned instruments in a multi hardware controller environment. So I can absolutely understand how you would want to go for the MIDI Guitar 2 & MainStage combination. This is a primer for any continued work with MIDI Guitar 2 in the MainStage environment, where I give anyone interested a very hands on walkthrough of the basic setup, as far as it is related to MIDI Guitar 2 (MG2).
