Il Mondo - Jimmy Fontana - Cover

A very special song that I think speaks to each and every soul in this world in one way or another. A song I encountered on Angelo Ottaviani&channel, but oddly enough it feels like I have known it forever. And maybe I have heard it before. I recorded this few weeks ago, one night prior a surgery that I was afraid would also change my voice. I had planned on recording many more songs, but I was overwhelmed. Luckily my voice seems ok post-OP, so as I slowly recover, and as I evaluate people&reaction, I will plan on releasing better videos and better covers of favorite songs of mine. P.S: Despite being raised in a household where Italian music was always present, this and some other songs in Italian I will be publishing also go out to some very special people who not long ago bought me a guitar for Christmas. A guitar I never found the strength to play. A sin I cannot undo, but a sin I acknowledge. And in the lyrics of this song I find a little salvation because : "the world will keep turning, the world, has never stopped for a moment, the night is always chasing the day and the day will come." #ilmondo
