Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water - Bass Cover

Bassline AS PLAYED note-for-note from the Machine Head LP by bassist, Roger Glover. This is my 2nd video of Smoke on the Water and it is at least 98% correct. Why a second video? I actually made the mistake of 'trusting' the accuracy of a «bass cover with tablature» on YouTube and wrote it all out and read it--only to discover more than a DOZEN wrong notes--after recording it. So, I felt I had to set the record straight and now this recording is more accurate and COMPLETE with all of Roger's ad-libs, too! (IMHO) *BEST appears in the title only as THIS video is My Best rendition. My recommendation: forget relying on TABs to be 100% correct found on internet. Just watch the hands in this video and you'll learn much better than with a tab which may or may not be accurate. I have worked for three days to verify all the notes--especially during the guitar solo--and these notes played I believe are correct. Note: during the guitar solo, my hand position is in the G minor position, so that almost all the bass notes may be played with minimum change of hand on neck position.
