We could go on with more lines and quotes engraved in our memories, this movie is a childhood classic for us, and brings on pure nostalgia. It was a box office success and spawned a very successful “Rambo” franchise, still going. “First Blood” is a 1982 action thriller film based on a David Morrell&1972 novel. The script was co-written by Sylvester Stallone, which also starred as John Rambo. Our hero is a troubled Vietnam veteran, “forced” to rely on his combat and survival skills against a small town abusive law enforcer, Sheriff Will Teasle, who considers Rambo an unwanted nuisance. Well, it all escalated really quickly. The film&score was composed and conducted by Jerry Goldsmith, whose theme "It&a Long Road" added a new dimension to the character - not being the actual “Main Title” of the soundtrack, it’s the main theme, for us at least.
