As of June 2020, you can control Terraria with your hands via Virtual Desktop, aided by a gamepad. It&so fun to control spells this way! What you&need: 1. Terraria (Steam) 2. PC or Laptop 3. Virtual Desktop streamer app on Win10 (get at VRDesktop.net) 4. Oculus Quest, with latest updates installed 5. Virtual Desktop (Quest version) 6. Virtual Desktop (latest SideQuest version, loaded) 7. 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz router (PC and Quest on same network) 8. One pair of human hands (preferrably from you and not stolen) 9. XBox One controller (or similar), using Experimental Features on Quest, paired with the Quest before loading Terraria 10. A wee bit of patience. Took me ~8 mins, because I had items 1-7 already set up. Yes, this works in local or online multiplayer. Tips: Drop your hands down below the view of the Quest to avoid a conflict while you are using the gamepad. This is pretty natural, so setting this up is actually worth it. Another nice feature of Virtual Desktop is the game is much more easily viewed if you have poor eyesight, as VD can make it the size of a cinema screen. Magic missile (as shown in this clip) is so much fun to use. it was worth the setup time. Also, this let me play Terraria nearer my kids&PCs downstairs, which is what motivated me to try it. Audio desync later in the clip doesn&happen when playing; that&just a known bug currently affecting Quest recordings. Special note: No don¬ no Bunnies were harmed in the making of this...
